The VOCAL CO-OP is pleased to invite you to a free training:

“Herding Turtles”

How To Create Great Meetings

July 18, 2006

One of our VOCAL CO-OP advisors used to say “trying to hold a great meeting, sometimes feels like trying to herd turtles”. Do you ever have this feeling?

*     Are your group meetings productive and upbeat?

*     Do you leave feeling energized and accomplish what you set out to do?

*     Do the relationships in your organization feel vibrant and inspiring?

*     Don't settle for meetings that are boring, frustrating, or less than constructive!

Join us for a day of FREE hands-on training. Training is geared for peer-run programs, but all consumers are welcome.

Training Topics:

Thoughtful advance planning

Alternative meeting formats

How to help everyone feel heard

Handling conflicts that arise

Skillful facilitation

Following through on decisions

And more!
